3D design capabilities and accessibility are progressing rapidly and it is a very exciting time for designers of many backgrounds and practices to let their creativity shine. Coming into 3D design from Fine Arts, drawing and painting, background has been such an enjoyable and in many ways liberating experience to create in these new mediums. This is a piece I created from scratch following instruction of Grant Adams. The applications of 3D design vary widely from illustration, animation, architectural, product, special effects, information display, gaming, virtual reality, and much much more. It's a very promising and exciting time for designers in this field.
