"Gateways" - Maya, Mudbox, Unity, Premier Pro
Created all models, model texturing, painting, and video production
The goal of this project, "Gateways", was to pull together my collective artistic and technical skill to showcase a sci-fi atmosphere sparking intrigue with spacial depth, convincing light, and a cohesion of visual intensity and wonder. I built all of the models in Maya, painted them using Mudbox and Photoshop, and then pulled the whole scene together in Unity to then process the video reel.
The robot warrior figure standing at the edge of the damaged gateway is an original character I created. I worked in Maya and built the majority of the character symmetrically. I used Mudbox to paint and texture the character adding some incandescence to his eyes that works well in the dark atmosphere of the scene.

Below are process shots of the "evil astroid rock" sculpted and painted in Mudbox and Photoshop. The rock was a very complex object that required retopology work to establish a low-poly game ready object that I could import into Unity.
